There will be jobs for the villagers, including No. 1’s father. But strange things begin to happen: the goats become sick and the fish in the river are dying. What is going on? And can No. 1 put things right?

The sixth and final book in this upbeat, humorous and very charming series about a young Nigerian boy who lives in Africa.

Racing Reads are pacy and engaging first novels for the newly independent reader. Each book is extensively illustrated and the storyper- chapter structure is ideal for building reading confidence.
